MK Schools did another fantastic job with a week of tree planting at Middleton Wood Meadow. Over 10 planting sessions between 14th and 18th November, 7 MK Primary Schools and 3 MK Secondary Schools planted 500 native British saplings, put on the tree protectors and put on wheelbarrow loads of “Magic Mulch”!
Our partners, The Parks Trust Milton Keynes and its Outdoor Learning Team, were really pleased with the work, and the Parks Trust Junior Rangers only had a few left-over trees to plant on the following Saturday.
Everyone finished tired, very muddy, but really happy!
