Wow – what a community effort!
Together with our Partners at The Parks Trust Milton Keynes, Broughton and Milton Keynes Village Parish Council and Newport Pagnell Town Council, local communities have planted more than 2000 trees since our first tree planting event this season in November 2022.
Trees were donated by the Woodland Trust and the International Tree Foundation.
Together, we planted:
- 400 trees in two copses at the new Middleton Community Garden with Broughton and Milton Keynes Village Parish Council
- 300 trees at Hornbeam Bike Park in Newport Pagnell with the Town Council
- 1300 more trees at Middleton Wood Meadow, including two weeks of schools planting, a community planting day and a family planting day, with The Parks Trust Milton Keynes.
